Deer Hunting 101
Interested in learning the Whitetail woods?

This class starts from the very beginning and basics of deer hunting. The aim is to take any person from someone just getting started in deer hunting for the first time to a seasoned hunter looking to freshen their skills and teach the information needed to bag that big buck!
We cover things like where can you find deer? What do they eat? What's a scrape? What's a rub? What gear do you need? Why do people ware camo? What calls do you use? and more!

This class runs for 3 hours (8AM - 11:30 AM or 1PM to 4:30PM) and will have a 45min in the field class portion and the rest will be boots on the ground in the field learning.

$ 100 - Per person in 6 person class
$250 - 1 on 1 course specific to your preferred hunting style. (Call to book)

Beaver Trapping 101
Are you interested in the Sport and Tradition of Beaver Trapping?​

Join us on this introductory in the field class where you will learn and discover the basics of beaver trapping as well as some of the rich history that is deeply rooted between beaver trapping and the founding of our United States of America.

Learn about Beaver behavior, Trap setting, best humane practices, History of trapping. the fur markets and making your own fur crafts!

Coming from a background of limited hunting experience and being the first in my family to hunt John's Deer Hunting 101 class took me from having a level of hunting where my understanding was "point rifle at deer, pull trigger" to feeling confident that I can go into the woods and identify where deer have been in the past, where they are now, and strategies to try and determine where they will be in the future. The class is packed with a ton of knowledge ranging from knowing what will help you conquer a deer's incredible senses to real examples of what to look for in a rub and how to set up a scrape. Its clear that John draws from years of experience and is truly passionate about sharing that with others and helping them improve their own skills

John is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all things outdoors, especially deer hunting. I thought I already knew what I needed to hunt to but boy was I wrong. This class is for people that are just starting out and know nothing about hunting or for seasoned veterans that are wanting to learn just a bit more to get that extra edge for their hunt. He has turned his land into a living class room and I'm excited to see what he does in the future. Definitely worth your time and money.
